Wartburg goes to Atlanta tournament with 8-0 record

The Wartburg women’s basketball team takes an 8-0 record into the start of a tournament in Atlanta, Georgia tonight. Coach Bob Amsberry’s team will take on Maryville of Tennessee in tonight’s opening round. He says Maryville is a strong program that has been in the NCAA’s the last several years and will attack the basket.

Tomorrow night the Knights will play the University of Texas-Tyler. He says they play at good brand of basketball there, and they are looking forward to the tournament. The tournament is being hosted by Ogelthorpe University.
