Iowa State squandered a late nine point lead in regulation and Oklahoma State raced away in overtime for a 96-87win over the Cyclones in Stillwater.

Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg says a lot of little things happened and they didn’t get enough offensive rebounds. Iowa State was outrebounded 42-32 and the Cowboys had a number of second chance opportunities as they roared back to force overtime.

Hoiberg says if the Cowboys didn’t score, they got the rebound and his team needed to find a way to get some of those rebounds and deny them a second chance at the basket.

Diante Garrett led I.S.U. with 25 points. The Cyclones fall to 1-3 in the Big 12 and 14-5 overall.
