Iowa State women’s basketball coach Bill Fennelly wants to see more offense out of his team. The 20th ranked Cyclones are 1-2 in the Big 12 and return to action Saturday at home against sixth ranked Texas A&M. Fennelly says his team is “offensively challenged” and they have to find a way to make some shots. He says it has been an ongoing issue where they go for long stretches without scoring and it puts them in a big hole that makes it tough to get out.

Fennelly says the lack of offense is not due to a lack of effort. He says they are continuing to work and he can’t fault the effort. Fennelly says they do a lot of shooting practice, and hopefully the can get things turned around.

A&M is 4-0 in the Big 12.
