Three people convicted of using false addresses to get discounted tuition at the Price Lab School in Cedar Falls have been sentenced to probation.

Todd and Kristi Eastman and Connie Bigelow will each serve one year of self-probation. Each of the three received a deferred judgment, meaning that the misdemeanor charge of tampering will be taken off of their records if they complete a full year of probation.

The Eastmans were both convicted of three separate counts of tampering with records, while Bigelow had been found guilty of two counts of the charge. They had faced up to two years in prison on each count.

Trials for two other parents, including former State Representative Kerry Burt, are scheduled for April.
