 The Iowa National Guard has released photos of the three soldiers wounded in the explosion of a bomb under their vehicle in Afghanistan on Monday.

The soldiers are 31-year-old Sergeant First Class Nicholas Jedlicka of Council Bluffs; 24-year-old Specialist Justin Christensen of Nebraska City, Nebraska and 20-year-old Specialist Dustin Morrison of New Market, Iowa.

These Soldiers are all members of Company B, 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, based in Shenandoah, Iowa.

The Iowa Guard says Christiansen is still receiving medical care in Afghanistan, Jedlicka and Morrison have been evacuated to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. The guard says no condition or injury reports are available as none of the soldiers signed waivers to release the information.

The blast killed 31-year-old Specialist Brent Maher of Honey Creek.  Related story.
