The lead in the Iowa Conference softball race will be on the lin tomorrow in Pella when Central hosts Coe in a doubleheader. The Dutch are third ranked nationally and at 8-0 lead the league race. Coe is in second place at 9-1 and coach Bob Timmons feels his team has been better than expected this season.

Timmons says the offense has come alive with some of the newcomers and returning players meshing together. Both teams are ranked in the nations top ten in division three. He says it will be a great test as it is always fun and a challenge to play against Central.

Timmons says the Kohawks will need to limit mistakes against Central. He says the big ballgames are usually won on the mistakes.
