INS salutes Schyler Bardole from East-Greene High School as this month’s superior student.

INS Superior Student-2011-April Winner-Schyler Bardole

“Schyler Bardole is an outstanding student who has made great achievements while in high school. During his four years, Schyler has participated in football, basketball, and track; along with band, jazz bank, national honor society and theater. He is a member of his church’s youth group and an officer of the local 4-H club. While in high school, Schyler created a program called RUSH; which stands for Relieving Undernourishment with Soy in Haiti. This foundation raised money to send a soy cow, which turned soybeans into food to Haiti to help with relief after they suffered the earthquake.

During his senior year, Schyler has served as football and basketball captain, he earned first team all district and academic awards in football, and is one of the top three leaders in most career rushing yards in eight man football in Iowa. While participating in all of these activities Schyler is able to uphold a cumulative GPA of 3.4. Next year, he plans to attend Central College in Pella where he will continue to play football. Schyler is an excellent role model and a leader in his community.”
