Vehicle from Fayette County accident.
A fatal traffic crash early today in northeast Iowa is under investigation. It happened at about 3:30 this morning, a half mile north of Elgin on County Road W-51.
A vehicle driven by 22-year-old Lukas Keough of McGregor apparently went out of control, entered a ditch and struck a tree. Keough was pronounced dead at the scene. His vehicle was totaled.
The accident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s office.
