Oskaloosa man charged with murder

June 20, 2011 By Radio Iowa Contributor

An Oskaloosa man is charged with murder in a stabbing death. Oskaloosa police were called to the home around 8:30 Sunday evening where they found 58-year-old Robert Henry Horovitz of Davenport suffering from multiple injuries.

Police also found 25-year-old Bradley William Arterburn near the home, suffering from what appeared to be self-inflicted wounds. Both men were taken to Mahaska Health Partnership, where Horovitz died. Arterburn was taken by Life Flight to a Des Moines Hospital.

Police filed first-degree murder charges against Arterburn and the investigation continues.
