A rural Tama County man is dead following a one-vehicle accident. The victim is identified as 45-year-old Andrew Suchanek. Authorities were called to the scene of the crash near Marshalltown about 1:15 A.M. Monday.
Suchanek’s pickup truck was found on its side in a ditch. It’s believed he was traveling at a high rate of speed, missed a corner and rolled the pickup several times. Suchanek was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck. An autopsy is planned.
