Two Iowa toddlers are in the news today. Last night, at an apartment building in Des Moines, a four-year-old boy pushing at the screen of his bedroom window fell out. He landed three stories below, on some grass.
The boy was awake and responsive when paramedics arrived to take him to the hospital. A condition report on the child is not available. Yesterday morning, in Cedar Rapids, a neighbor who noticed a three-year-old boy sitting on the roof of his home called police.
A police officer went to the house and got the boy off the roof. His two older sisters were at the house and were supposed to be babysitting him at the time.
