DCI has “person of interest” in Warren County fatal fire case

August 9, 2011 By Matt Kelley

The D.C.I. released this sketch of a person sought in the Warren County fatal fire case.

There are new developments in the case of a missing Warren County couple.

Eighty-year-old Bill Wood and 72-year-old Kay Wood have been missing since their Norwalk home was destroyed in a fire July 30th.

A badly burned body was found inside. The couple’s pickup truck was found the following day outside an apartment complex in Kansas City, Missouri.

Now, state law enforcement officers are releasing a composite drawing of a man they’re calling a person of interest in the case.

He was seen with the truck. He’s described as white, perhaps between his late 40s and early 60s, 6’2″ to 6’6″ with a slender build and short grey-to-white hair. The body found in the house still has not been positively identified but authorities now say it is male. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
