Cedar Rapids police are investigating the death of a teen after some sort of fight. The police report says officers were called to a local hospital just before seven o’clock last night regarding an individual who had been assaulted.

The report says police arrived at the hospital to find the 18-year-old male had died. The only details police are releasing right now are that the teen was involved in what they call an “altercation” and no weapons were displayed. Police are not releasing the victim’s name until they can notify his relatives.
