The lead in class 1A district two is on the line this evening as fifth ranked West Lyon visits top ranked Emmetsburg. West Lyon is the defending 1A champ and coach Jay Rozeboom says there are a number of new faces on this team. He says the young guys have come prepared and ready to go.
Rozeboom says a couple of injuries in the first two games led to them being even younger than he wanted and they are not yet where they want to be. Rozeboom says his team faces a tough test against the E-Hawks. He says they are good every year and are well coached and hard nosed.
Rozeboom says the Wildcats need to be prepared for a physical challenge and need to win the line of scrimmage and tackle well.
