Iowa Falls woman dies in accident

October 7, 2011 By Radio Iowa Contributor

One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash last night at a rural Wright County intersection. The name of the victim is 48-year-old Shelly Brannick of Iowa Falls.

Reportedly, a westbound 2000 Ford F-350 pickup driven by Brannick failed to negotiate a curve in the road. Brannick lost control of the vehicle, went into the south ditch and rolled over once where it came to rest on the driver’s side. Brannick was pronounced dead on arrival at Wright Medical Center in Clarion.

A passenger, 28-year-old Robert Mestdagh of Iowa Falls escaped injury in the accident.
