Drake heads west with PFL title on the line

October 14, 2011 By Todd Kimm

Drake visits San Diego in a key Pioneer Football League matchup this weekend. They are two of the three teams tied at the top of the league standings at 3-0.

Drake coach Chris Creighton says it’s a huge game for both as it puts one of the two in the driver’s seat along with Jacksonville. He says the Bulldogs will need a great effort to get the win as it will be the best team they have played. Creighton says they’ve won the last two and that means they will get the very best effort out of San Diego.

Creighton says the biggest concern with San Diego is their team speed as they run very well on both sides of the ball.

Both teams are 5-1 overall.
