The Aggies piled up 510 yards of total offense against an I.S.U. defense that continues to struggle. A new quarterback is leading the way for the Cyclones after freshman Jared Barnett was sent into the game to replace a struggling Steel Jantz in the first quarter.

Barnett proceeded to lead I.S.U. to a touchdown on his first drive to give them their only lead of the game. Barnett finished the game 16 of 36 for 180 yards. Texas tech is 4-2 overall after5 a stunning 41-38 victory at third ranked Oklahoma.
