Two New Hampton men arrested in pig shootings

The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office has filed charges against two local men in connection with the shooting of two pigs earlier this month near Lawler. The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s office says 20- year-old Jordan M. Ollendick and 33-year-old Gregory R. Hanson, both of New Hampton, were arrested in the case.

Ollendick has been charged with shooting over a highway, carrying a loaded and uncased rifle, prohibited hunting near a building or feedlot and fifth degree criminal mischief. Hanson is charged with operation of a motor vehicle without a valid registration, aiding and abetting someone carrying a loaded rifle, as well as aiding and abetting prohibited hunting near a building or feedlot.
