ISU downs Prairie View A&M

December 7, 2011 By Todd Kimm

Iowa State burst out to a 23 point lead at the half in an 84-59 win over Prairie View A&M. Chris Allen had 16 points for the Cyclones who improve to 6-3.

Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg who was pleased with the way the Cyclones started the game, as he says they had great energy.”And that’s what we talked about here these last couple of days, coming out and jumping on them, don’t let them get any confidence,” Hoiberg says.

Hoiberg says they did have some rebounding lapses as Prairie View was crashing five to the boards, but he says they gave up too many.
