A northeast Iowa man is found guilty of sexually assaulting a young girl. A Fayette County jury has convicted 43-year-old Ricky Putman, of Arlington, of first-degree sexual abuse causing injury.
Putman was accused of assaulting the two-year-old in May of last year during an overnight stay at her family’s home. Putman faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole.
A sentencing date hasn’t yet been set.
