A Waterloo teenager was shot and killed last night though few details are being released and there’s no word on any arrests. Seventeen-year-old Martavious Taveros Johnson of Waterloo died at Allen Hospital as a result of a gunshot wound.
He had been taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. When he arrived at the hospital shortly after 8:00 Thursday night, staff there contacted police, who responded to the northeast side area where the shooting is believed to have taken place.
An autopsy has been scheduled, but no other details are being released at this time.
