Exira man dies in Shelby County accident

January 20, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

A western Iowa man died in a one-vehicle accident in Shelby County late last night. Sheriff’s officials say 21-year-old Gary Davis of Exira was killed when he lost control of a 2008 Pontiac G6 on curve near Irwin on County Road M-47.

The vehicle traveled into a ditch where it came to rest on its top. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Shelby County Medical Examiner.
