A Fort Dodge man who was shot in the neck on May 8th last year by an unknown person has died of his injuries in Tampa, Florida. Nineteen-year-old Brandyn Preston was shot while attending a party in the back yard of a Fort Dodge residence.
Preston was transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center and later moved to Tampa for further treatment but died last Sunday. No arrests have been made. A $5,000 cash reward is being offered by Webster County Crimestoppers for information on the shooter.
