A northeast Iowa man will be spending more time behind bars. Twenty-year-old Shain Slick plead guilty Wednesday to first-degree theft and third-degree burglary.

On December 3rd of last year, the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s office responded to a report of a stolen farm tractor within the county. Deputies arrested Slick three days later.

Judge Richard Stochl ordered Slick to spend five years in prison on the burglary charge and 10 years on the theft charge, which will be served concurrently.

Slick’s probation was also revoked in which Stochl ordered him to serve no more than seven years in prison. The revocation sentences will be run consecutively from the recent charges.
