Two people were killed last night when a car and a pickup collided on a Webster County road near Moorland. The names of those killed and those injured will be released later today.
Reportedly the driver of an eastbound 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck lost control and crossed over into the westbound lane of traffic into the path of a westbound 2006 Pontiac. The car then struck the passenger side of the pickup truck. Both the driver of the pickup and the front seat passenger of the truck were pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The other three passengers in the truck and the driver of the car were transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge for treatment of their injuries.
