A fatal shooting is under investigation in northeast Iowa.
Authorities were called out at about 9 PM on Wednesday on the report of gunshots heard by neighbors in a residential area of Jesup.
At least three gunshots were heard. Little information has been released.
Reportedly, two people were wounded, possibly one of them dead.
Authorities state there is no threat to the public at this time. No names or details are being released at this time.
The shooting is under investigation by the Buchanan County Sheriff, Jesup Police and Iowa DCI.
