An investigation is underway in Waterloo after a woman was found dead this morning. Police believe the death was the result a hit-and-run accident in downtown Waterloo.
A body was found on the sidewalk at an intersection just south of the interchange of U.S. Highways 218 and 63. The southbound lanes of 218 have been closed between 63 and Park Avenue while police continue to investigate.
