A suspect is in custody after a double-murder at a Des Moines trucking firm on Thursday night. Someone called 911 shortly after 5 P.M. and all the dispatcher was able to hear was an argument, then, what sounded like gunshots, and the voices were silenced.

The call was traced to Seibert Trucking where, within minutes, officers found the bodies of two men. Both had been shot to death.

Investigators identifed 39-year-old Ronald Hawkinson as a person of interest in the case and picked him up in Winterset for questioning. Hawkinson was later charged with two counts of murder. The names of the victims are still being withheld.
