Search underway on Iowa River for missing Marshalltown boy

June 19, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

The search is resuming this morning for the body of a ten-year-old Marshalltown boy who’s presumed drowned. Marshalltown police responded to a call last night just before 8 P.M. about a missing juvenile who had been swimming in the Iowa River near the Center Street Dam in Marshalltown.

Police officers, firefighters and a tracking dog tried to find the boy until about 10 P.M., when the search was called off.
