The search for a missing four-year-old girl in northern Iowa last night was successful. Winnebago County Sheriff Doug Jenson says they received a call about the missing girl shortly before 5:45 Tuesday night after the girl was playing with a friend in the cornfield near Leland.

The girl’s friend came out of the field but the girl did not. Jenson says nearly 200 people, including first responders and volunteers from the public, helped out in the search.

The girl was found shortly before 11:30 last night.
