Regional softball gets underway

July 3, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Regional softball tournament action begins tonight in class 3a and seventh ranked East Marshall will be at home to take on Nevada. East Marshall Coach Jary Hoskey says his team is hoping to make a length tournament run.

Hoskey says regardless of the outcome, he wants the team to play well, and if they don’t play well, bad things can happen.

East Marshall will be at home early in the tournament. Hoskey says that doesn’t mean they can just show up, they have to have decent pitching and that will let them be there at the end.
