Two die in Worth County accident

July 10, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Two people are dead after a van and a semi collided in Worth County. State Patrol spokesman Mark Domino says that the accident took place earlier this morning at the intersection of State Highway 9 and County Road S-28 near Hanlontown, just west of Interstate 35.

Domino says a van was traveling southbound on S-28 when it failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a semi traveling eastbound on State Highway 9. Names of the victims have not been released at this time.
