Sergeant Bluff man dies in accident

October 3, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

A northwest Iowa man has died in a rollover crash. Early Tuesday morning, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s office responded to a one-vehicle accident located on Highway 75, just south of Le Mars.

Deputies found the vehicle in the east ditch, and determined the driver had lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, where it rolled several times. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Scott Jacobsen of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was transported to Floyd Valley Hospital for further examination by Plymouth County Medical Examiner.
