Waterloo man dies in shooting

December 3, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

A Waterloo man died following a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning. Police say 22-year-old Shantorio Evans was a passenger in a vehicle travelling through the city’s east side just before 2:00 AM Sunday morning.

A second vehicle pulled alongside the car Evans was riding in and an unknown person fired multiple shots. Evans was hit by multiple bullets and taken to Allen Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a one thousand dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest in the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Waterloo Police.
