Class 3A: Grant Sagan, Vinton-Shellsburg

The senior averaged 23 points, eight rebounds and four steals in two victories. Sagan scored 25 points, added nine rebounds and four steals in a win over Clear Creek-Amana. He also had 21 points and seven rebounds in a victory over Independence and in the two games connected on 65 percent of his shots.
