Coralville man accused of stabbing his mother

February 25, 2013 By Matt Kelley

A Coralville man is in jail, charged with stabbing his mother. Twenty-four-year-old Philippe Diamitani was arrested Sunday after police were sent to a home and were told by Diamitani’s mother that she’d been attacked by her son who was armed with a knife.

The mother was taken to a hospital for injuries to a shoulder and hand. Diamitani is charged with willful injury and domestic abuse assault.
