Missing Mount Pleasant woman’s body found in Mississippi River

The body of a woman missing since February has been recovered in the Mississippi River. The body, identified as that of 45-year-old Teresa Bruegge, of Mount Pleasant, was found on Wednesday in a portion of the river adjacent to Hancock County, Illinois.

Preliminary autopsy results show that Bruegge died from drowning. Bruegge was reported missing to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office on February, 15th.
