Cedar Falls women in custody in connection with Waterloo stabbing

March 26, 2013 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Waterloo Police now have a suspect in custody in connection with a stabbing death last night. Officers have detained a Cedar Falls woman who is reportedly an acquaintance of the man who was found dead on the steps of his home late last night.

Police have not yet identified the victim or the woman in custody. They say that a neighbor called officers after hearing what might have been an argument outside the victim’s home.

An autopsy has been scheduled for today at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
