Marshall County officials have charged a Marshalltown man in connection of the death of a woman who was found dead outside the city Sunday.
The suspect has been identified as 40-year-old Matthew Irving. Irving was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder and taken to the Marshall County Jail where he is being held without bond pending a court appearance.
Fifty-five-year-old Rebecca Hall was found dead in a Chrysler minivan by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy who was on routine patrol Sunday morning on a stretch of roadway just east of Marshalltown.
