A southeast Iowa man has been sentenced to three decades in prison for producing child pornography. Thirty-three-year-old Aaron Dean Norton of Fort Madison pleaded guilty to the production of child porn back in March.
A federal judge this week sentenced him to 30 years in prison to be followed by 20 years of supervised release. As part of the guilty plea, Norton admitted that in April 2010 he photographed himself sexually abusing a four year old child he was babysitting.
The case was investigated by the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Iowa DCI.
