Driver identified in fatal Taylor County motorcycle accident

August 12, 2013 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Authorities are now releasing the name of the Tennessee man who was killed in a weekend motorcycle accident in southwest Iowa’s Taylor County. The Iowa State Patrol says 53-year old Kendall Wallace, of Cookeville, Tennessee died at the scene of the crash Saturday evening at the intersection of Highway 2 and Main Street, in New Market.

Wallace was riding a motorcycle on Highway 2 at around 7:35 p.m., when he crashed into the side of a car driven by 19-year old Forrest Greenwood, of Clarinda, after Greenwood’s vehicle turned in front of the cycle. Greenwood was injured during the crash and transported to the Clarinda Regional Hospital.
