The Iowa basketball team opened a trip to Europe on Tuesday with a convincing victory. The Hawkeyyes shot a sizzling 62-percent in the opening half to take command in a 102-58 victory over the London Lions.
Iowa coach Fran Mccaffery went with the younger players in the game as Devyn Marble, Aaron White and Melsahn basabe did not even get into the game.
Freshman to be Peter Jok led the way with 22 points and eight rebounds. Jared Uhtoff added 14 points and six rebounds.
