Thompson man found guilty in first of 3 sexual abuse trials

October 4, 2013 By Radio Iowa Contributor

An 80 year old Thompson man was found guilty of sexually abusing two young girls. The verdict for Clarence Miller was heard Friday morning in a Butler County courtroom.  Miller is found guilty on two counts of sexual abuse. Both are felonies. He is also facing other sexual abuse charges in two other upcoming trials.

Miller was placed under arrest in September 2012 after an investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal investigation, the Iowa Department of Human Services, and the Winnebago Attorney’s office.  No sentencing date has been set.
