Iowa State takes a 1-3 record on the road to play 20th ranked Texas Tech in the Big-12. ISU is coming off a tough loss to Texas but coach Paul Rhoads says his team had no trouble bouncing back. He says Tech is a hard place to play with their fans very much involved in the game and especially this week since they are undefeated.

Over the years Tech has been known for its passing offense but Rhoads says this team can run it as well. “They’re going to effectively take what you give them,” Rhoads says. So he says they have to be ready to stop the run or the pass depending on what the situation dictates.

Tech quarterback Baker Mayfield is questionable after suffering a knee injury in last week’s win at Kansas. The true freshman walk on has been a suprise in Tech’s 5-0 start.
