Drake takes a 2-0 record on the road this weekend when the Bulldogs visit one of the top programs on the west coast as they play St. Mary’s of California on Saturday night.

“You look at the last five years, they are going to end up being 80 and 8 on their home court over that five year span,” according to Drake coach Ray Giacoletti. He says St.

Mary’s has one of the best home court advantages in college basketball and he says they have been one of the top programs in the country. “I’m excited, we’ve go good mo-jo going right now coming off two wins,” Giacoletti says.

Giacoletti says the Gaels will be tough to guard with Steven Holt running the point. He says they do 2 or 3 ball screens on every possession, so they have to know who the shooters and drivers are.

Drake has one road win already this season after posting a 61-59 victory at Illinois-Chicago last weekend.
