Melvin Ejim came back from a knee injury just in time as he finished with 22 points and nine rebounds as ISU moved to 3-0. “It was great to be back, great to be playing with these guys…it’s just fun after hearing you might miss a couple weeks of you senior season to get back and play,” Ejim says.

Ejim says he went hard in practice leading up to the game. “And I think that really prepared me, I started moving and I wasn’t afraide to move feet,” he says.

Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg says it was a big win for the program. Michigan led for much of the game and had a 9 point advantage in the opening half.
