Nebraska got a drive going, but it stalled out and they settled for a field goal at the end of the first half to make the halftime score Iowa 14, Nebraska 3.

The Hawkeyes got on the board first with a Jake Ruddock to C.J. Fiedorowicz touchdown pass to take a 7-0 lead after the first quarter. The score came after an interception by Senior linebacker James Morris. It was the second interception by the Hawkeyes, but they gave up the ball on downs following the first turnover.

Mark Weiseman scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with 5:15 to go in the 2nd quarter and the extra point put the Hawkeyes up 14-0. Wiesman had hit the endzone from 12 yards out, but video review showed his knee was down at the one. It’s his 6th touchdown of the season.

Iowa is looking for its first win in this Black Friday series with Nebraska.
