The 14th ranked Iowa State women open the Big 12 race on the road at TCU. The Cyclones are 11-0 and coach Bill Fennelly believes the league race is wide open.
“Every single game I think will be a challenge — and I think like I’ve said to many people — it seems that women’s basketball looks a lot like what football was about, where everyone could beat everyone,” Fennelly says. He says they means you have to show up ready to play for every game.
A win this evening would equal the best start in program history but Fennelly says the Cyclones are approaching this game as a new start at 0-0 in the conference. “If we play the game the right way and we play the game they way that we’ve shown we’re capable of playing, we’ll be in every single game,” Fennelly says.
TCU enters the Big 12 race with a record of 9-3.
