Iowa Network Services boys high school basketball players of the week 1/7/14

Class 4A: Terrance Busch, Des Moines North
The senior poured in 34 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, added two assists and two steals in a victory over Indianola. Busch was 10 of 13 from the field and four of seven from three point range.

Class 3A: Jared Gescheidler, Gilbert
The junior averaged 15 points, more than 14 rebounds and just over seven assists in two games. Gescheidler scored 14 points, hauled down 18 rebounds and dished out nine assists in a victory over Greene County.

Class 2A: Bryce Kearns, West Central Valley (Stuart)
The junior scored 33 points, had 21 rebounds and registered six steals in a win over Woodward Academy. Kearns connected on 14 of 22 shots from the field.

Class 1A: Luke Lyle, Keota
The senior had 20 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, four steals and blocked three shots in a win over Montezuma. Lyle connected on three of five from three point range.
