Cyclones face next challenge on the road at Oklahoma

January 10, 2014 By Todd Kimm

The ninth ranked Iowa State Cyclones put their unbeaten record on the line on Saturday when they visit Oklahoma. The Cyclones are 14-0 after a lopsided win over Texas Tech this week. “We’re really proud of this group, just the unselfishness that they play with out there and they play for each other,” Cyclone coach Fred Hoiberg says, “and when you have that it gives you  an opportunity to be successful.”

Oklahoma is 12-3 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12. Hoiberg says they are really good and showed that by going on the road to beat Texas.  He says they play fast and press and it should be an exciting game. It will be an early 11 a.m. tip off in Norman.
